WIPA top WICB at arbitration again
THE WEST Indies Cricket Board (WICB) will have to pay the West Indies Players Association (WIPA) over US$1million due to breaches of the present Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
WIPA president Dinanath Ramnarine, in a media conference yesterday held at their head office on Edward Street, Port of Spain, noted that both bodies accepted Senior Counsel Seenath Jairam as the sole arbitrator for Article VI of the Agreement for the 2009/2010 annual schedule of cricket.
