Antigua gov't wants WICB 'intervention'

Minister of State with responsibility for Sports Senator Winston Williams has written to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Dr Ernest Hilaire seeking his intervention “in the impasse between the Antigua & Barbuda Cricket Association and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.”

The minister, in his letter, pointed out the fact that the national body has failed in its bid to host constitutional elections for the past five years which is mainly due to absence of a quorum at general meetings.
