Enoch Lewis retains Antigua cricket presidency

Despite public outcry for his removal as head of the Antigua & Barbuda Cricket Association (ABCA) leading into Wednesday night’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections, clubs and members once again exercised confidence in the ability of former national cricketer, Enoch Lewis, as president of the association.

Lewis beat his lone challenger and another former national cricketer Mark Bowers, 27-23, to retain his post; but the vote counting wasn’t without a tinge of controversy. Due to a duplicated proxy ballot, there were 50 votes from 49 electors.
