Cocoon of WICB secrecy

It's probably just as well that Michael Muirhead has some experience in selling dreams.

As former Executive Director of the Tourism Product Development Company of Jamaica, the man who is now Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) would have been well acquainted with the business of generating new ideas and initiatives to keep people from countries near and far coming to his homeland for that idyllic holiday and, in the process, spending considerable sums of much-needed foreign currency.

Yet as much of a challenge as that previous assignment had to be--especially in the context of a protracted guava season in North America and Western Europe--you can only assume that he was so phenomenally successful in that position that he needed to mitigate the potential for an inflated ego by taking on a job that would not only cut him down to size, but is likely to transform him into public enemy number one in the eyes of millions of his own Caribbean people in next to no time
