Cameron Replaces Hunte as WICB chief

Windiescricket.com is reporting that Dave Cameron has been successful in his bid for the WICB presidency. From the press release:

Dave Cameron, a 42-year-old Jamaican, has been elected as the new president of the WICB. In a closely fought contest, Cameron defeated Dr Julian Hunte 7-5.

Cameron's running mate, Emmanuel Nathan of Dominica is the new vice-president. He defeated Barbados Cricket Association president Joel Garner 8-4.

The winning candidates are scheduled to address the media at 3PM Atlantic Standard Time.
