Media Watch For those who love cricket at its best, or near its best, the 2013 West Indies domestic first-class season is best forgotten, especially by those who are fond of good batting.

In the season which ends at Kensington Oval today, probably, a season of 24 matches from start to finish, all of which were scheduled for four days, most of which finished in three days, some in two days and one in less than a day and two sessions, the batting by every team was pathetic.
