Partnership good for West Indies cricket
West Indians will get more opportunities to assess their team in the 50-over version of the game in a triangular tournament which begins at Sabina Park late next week.
India, with an exciting array of hugely talented young batsmen, and Sri Lanka will join West Indies in the first such tournament of its type in the Caribbean. As fate would have it, the two Asian countries are the finalists in the Champions Trophy set for tomorrow in England.
Happily, the triangular tournament comes amidst growing evidence of harmony and consensus at the leadership level in West Indies cricket.
