Tridents make light work of Zouks

Gros Islet, St Lucia - Any thoughts that the Barbados Tridents’ domination of the 2013 Limacol Caribbean Premier League was limited to home advantage in their first three matches quickly disappeared on Thursday night.

As if they had shown up at Beausejour to prove a point, the Barbados Tridents dominated in every aspect of the match. But it wasn’t just domination. They played so well it looked like they were showing off. And why not? In a team of so many individual stars, the Tridents have played as the strongest and tightest unit so far.

You can say their confidence is so high at the moment, Kieron Pollard rarely has second thoughts about batting first once he wins the toss. He won it again on Thursday night and decided to bat.
