Rampaul ready
West Indies pacer Ravi Rampaul is on the comeback trail and is eager to reclaim his place on the West Indies team and lead Trinidad and Tobago to Champions League Twenty20 success.
The right-arm pacer was sidelined with an ankle injury and missed most of the Tri-Nation series involving West Indies, India and Sri Lanka, as well as the Limacol Caribbean Premier League Twenty20 (CPLT20). He said he has recovered and is eager to get back in action this weekend.
Rampaul was supposed to be part of the Jamaica Tallawahs side for the CPLT20 but had to pull out because of his injury.
He is part of the T&T T20 squad that will travel to Guyana tomorrow to play two matches against their hosts on Friday and Saturday as part of their preparations for the Champions League T20, which bowls off on September 17.
