GEORGETOWN, Guyana – Destructive fast bowling from Jerome Jones which included a hat-trick failed to trump steady spin bowling from Nihaduzzaman and Mehedy Hasan that bowled Bangladesh Under-19s to a series-clinching, 67-run victory over West Indies Under-19s in the final Youth One-day International on Monday here.

Jones grabbed 5-23 from six overs that included the scalps of Yasir Ali, Nihaduzzaman and Jubair Hossain which brought the Bangladeshi innings to a dramatic close on 168 all out in 44 overs, after the visitors chose to bat at Everest.

But the Windies Under-19s’ batting put up token resistance and they were bowled out for 101 in 33.5 overs, as they again failed to combat the Bangladesh Under-19s spinners.
