Legend Lara inspires WI Women

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – West Indies batting legend Brian Lara has offered words of encouragement to the West Indies Women’s team after meeting with them on Wednesday evening.

The double world record-holder was a special guest at a function for the West Indies Women and England Women teams who are in Trinidad for their three-match One-Day Series.

“I respect all cricketers at all levels and I was delighted to accept the invitation to join the West Indies and England Women’s teams. I was happy to see the players and just to relax and share some of my knowledge with them and also hear from them as well,” Lara told WICB Media.
