Cariah, Khan, Cooper star in final Super50 T&T trial

All-rounder Kevon Cooper slammed four sixes and four fours in a 68-ball 69 before his teammate Imran Khan snatched four wickets for 15 runs with his leg-spin to lead the Trinidad and Tobago A to a 57-run win over T&T B in the final Super50 trial match at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain yesterday.

Khan also contributed with the bat, hitting 43 off 67 balls to help T&T A reach a competitive 187 all out off 44.5 overs.

Leg-spinner Yannic Cariah was the chief wicket-taker for T&T B, grabbing five for 30 from 8.5 overs, including the wickets of Cooper and Khan.
