T&T trials; upgrades at the National Cricket Centre

The Sir Frank Worrell Development Centre at the National Cricket Centre in Trinidad will be closed for about eight weeks during which time it will receive about TT$1 million in upgrades. The money is coming from transfer fees from the IPL for the services of T&T players during the Champions League.

In the T&T three day trial match at the National Cricket Centre, Kavesh Kantasingh and Yannic Cariah both took 5 for 19 as Jason Mohammed's XI beat Justin Gullien's XI by 213 runs. Evin Lewis was the only centurion, with 124, in the otherwise low scoring match.
