Nicholas slams 60 to lead Ottley XI reply

Following the example set by his Queen’s Park Cricket Club teammate Jonathan Augustus a day earlier, Petrock Nicholas, scored a patient 60 to put the Yannick Ottley XI in a good position at the close of the second day of their three-day trial match against the Jason Mohammed XI at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain, Couva yesterday.

Nicholas faced 115 balls and batted for almost two hours as the Ottley XI reached 228 for five at stumps in reply to the Mohammed XI first innings total of 276 all out.
