Devon Thomas standout performer at Leeward Islands Camp
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - AN aggressive half century by Devon Thomas was the standout performance at the Leeward Islands training camp on Wednesday (Jan.22) to help Steve Liburd XI fight on day two of a three-day trial match at the Conaree Cricket Ground.
In response to 338 all out posted by Sylvester Joseph XI on day one, Thomas led his team’s fight in pursuit of the opposition’s total.
Thomas of Antigua and Barbuda made a stroke filled 67 with shots all around the ground and was the main contributor in his team’s effort. Monticin Hodge of Anguilla also chipped in with 29 and Jacques Taylor of St. Kitts added 27
