West Indies batting in shambles
The Nagico Super 50 West Indies cricket tournament has come and gone, and heartiest congratulations to Barbados, champions after an exciting and well-attended final against Trinidad and Tobago.
With all the good intentions, however, the tournament was a disappointment. It was poorly attended, except when the home team was on show, and it achieved only one thing.
It exposed, for yet another time, the lack of batting technique in the West Indies.
But for a few, especially one like Shivnarine Chanderpaul, and Darren Bravo, some of the time the batsmen appeared clueless to the art of batting.
