T&T send Leewards plummeting to earth
Port of Spain, Trinidad - Hosts Trinidad & Tobago sent the Leeward Islands plummeting back to earth in just one session on the night of Day 2.
Up until now, the Leewards have enjoyed a bit of revival from their poor performances in previous seasons. A win against the Combined Campuses & Colleges in Round 1 and a near defeat against Jamaica in Round 2 raised hopes for the islanders.
However, after Akeal Hosein and Stephen Katwaroo batted out the first two sessions of Day 2, it seemed to knock the wind out of the visitors, who finished the day clinging on at 86/9.
