T&T whip Leewards for 2nd straight 4-day win

Trinidad and Tobago leg-spinner Imran Khan grabbed five wickets for 53 runs to bowl the home team to an innings and 107-run victory over the Leeward Islands in the first session of the final day of their Regional Four-day Championship day/night match at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain yesterday.

The Leewards started the final day on 159 for six after Shannon Gabriel’s late strike on Sunday to remove skipper Kieran Powell.

 CCC hold Barbados to a draw, WICB 4-day, R3, Day 4,

Bridgetown, Barbados, March 17 - (www.bcacricket.org) -  Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) and Barbados drew their rain-hit third round WICB first-class match at 3Ws Oval today.

CCC, with a first innings deficit of 87, were 101 for five off 46 overs in their second innings - 14 runs ahead with five wickets standing - when play ended at 4:30 p.m.

Opener Kyle Corbin hit his second half-century of the match - an unbeaten 52 to follow 55 as his team's topscorer in both innings.
