WICB, PLEASE HELP
The West Indies ODI captain Dwayne Bravo has made an impassionate plea to the West indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Whycliffe “Dave” Cameron to intervene in the current impasse.
The to and froing between the WI first team players and (West Indies Players Association) WIPA continued yesterday as Bravo wrote Cameron and appealed to “fair play and justice and to seek your urgent intervention in helping to remedy the emerging impasse between ourselves and the West Indies Cricket Board.”
It follows on the heels of WIPA president Wavell Hinds’ response to Bravo’s October 4 and October 8 letters in which he refuted Bravo’s claims. But Bravo and the players’ latest correspondence signals a continuation of the dispute between them and WIPA as he said WIPA is no longer their representative.
