Taylor shines but Windies concede series
Melbourne, Australia - Stafanie Taylor hammered a half-century for the West Indies Women against Australia's Southern Stars in the 3rd Twenty20 International at the Melbourne Cricket Ground but it wasn't enough.
The Windies Women fell to a 4-wicket defeat against the Aussies, in the process conceding the series 3-0 with one match to play. Taylor helped the Windies get to 149/6 from their 20 overs but the Australians got home with one ball to spare.
Captain Meg Lanning was the highlight of the Southern Stars' innings, hitting 51 runs from just 35 balls, in a knock that included eight boundaries. Elyse Villani was also good at the top, hitting 28 while wicket-keeper, Alyssa Healy was unbeaten on 25. The Aussies got to 150/6 in 19.5 overs.
