Leewards name squad for Guyana clash

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The Leeward Islands selectors have named the following players for the first round of match against Guyana in the 2014/15 Professional Cricket League (PCL):

Devon THOMAS, Captain, Jahmar HAMILTON, Vice Captain, Quinton BOATSWAIN

Yannick LEONARD, Jeremiah LOUIS, Anthony MARTIN, Orlando PETERS, Austin RICHARDS

Lyndell RICHARDSON, Akeem SAUNDERS, Jacques TAYLOR, Gavin TONGE, Kelbert WALTERS

The Leeward Islands team will be looking to start its campaign on a positive note.  Newly appointed captain Thomas said that he is “looking forward to the challenge” while remaining hopeful for the full support of his teammates.

The team management will comprise of Leroy Percival (Manager), Ridley Jacobs (Coach) while Masefield Nisbett will be the Trainer.  The match will be played from 14th to 17th November, 2014 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
