One-day skipper Miller has sights on title

Spinner Nikita Miller has described his appointment as captain of Jamaica Franchise's one-day team as an honour and a privilege.

The 32-year-old, who has been representing Jamaica in the format since 2004, was, last week, handed the post ahead of next month's staging of the WICB Super50 Tournament in Trinidad and Tobago.

"I feel honoured to be named captain," said Miller. "It is a job that not many have the privilege of doing, so for me, personally, it is an achievement.

"I just hope that I will be able to go out there and make an impression by leading the team to victory," he pointed out.
