Hero replaces Limacol as title sponsor
Hero MotoCorp Limited, which is the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, will replace Limacol as the new title sponsor of the league for a period of one-year, the CPL T20 organisers announced yesterday via a media release.
A day earlier the CPL, in another media release, revealed that New Guyana Pharmaceutical Company Incorporated (NEW GPC INC), under its popular Limacol brand, confirmed that it will continue as a “principal partner” of tournament.
As part of the agreement, Limacol will now become umpires and referees partner, which will see Limacol represented on the umpires' uniforms and during the third umpire review.
Limacol was title sponsor of the first two seasons of the CPL.
