South West cricket caravan rolls out

THE South West Zone of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board in its efforts to unearth new talent from their mainly rural areas is continuing its coaching caravan, when coaches are sent to different venues to conduct sessions.

At these sessions, coaching, screening and data collection is done. The objective is primarily cricket development in the zone, but also to get the talented youths into the teams that will be competing in the 2016 BGTT zonal age-group competitions.

This was revealed by Ramesh Dharamdeo, chairman of the South West Zone who said that the programme will bowl off on Saturday at the Fyzabad Composite School, and the Palo Seco Velodrome starting at 9 am and ending at noon.
