Pride vs Red Force

Bridgetown, Barbados, November 13 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados Pride were 247 for four off 90 overs in their first innings after winning the toss against Trinidad & Tobago Red Force at the close of play on the opening day of the second round WICB PCL first-class match at Kensington Oval today.

The not out batsmen were Shamarh Brooks on 102 and Shane Dowrich, 15.

Scorpions vs Volcanoes

Andre McCarthy was composed in striking a career-best 92 to help prevent Jamaica Scorpions from suffering a middle-order collapse against Windward Islands Volcanoes.

But the Volcanoes' off-spinner Liam Sebastien claimed a five-wicket haul to ensure the hosts were pegged back to 230-7 at the close of yesterday's first day of the Professional Cricket League match at Sabina Park.

Score: Scorpions 230-7 (95 overs).

Play is scheduled to resume at 10:00 am today with David Bernard not out on 32 and Damion Jacobs yet to get off the mark.

Jaguars vs Hurricanes

VISHAUL Singh slammed his second first-class century against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes as his defiant innings pushed Guyana Jaguars to 218-5 at stumps on day one of their WICB Professional Cricket League (PCL) Regional 4-day match at the Guyana National Stadium.Singh is unbeaten on 111 with Christopher Barnwell (19) at the other end. Hurricanes used eight bowlers yesterday but West Indies Under-19 fast bowler Alazarri Joseph stood out as he tore through the defending champions’ top order.
The visitors won the toss but gave the home side first strike. Assad Fudadin got Guyana their first five runs of the match then fell leg-before-wicket to Joseph. The very next delivery the Guyanese captain Leon Johnson nicked a lively delivery from Joseph to Orlando Peters at second slip without scoring, Jaguars were 16-2.
