Another stuttering start by the T&T top order and more solid batting from Guyana led by veteran Shivnarine Chanderpaul left T&T with all to do heading into today’s final day of the West Indies Cricket Board Professional Four-Day Cricket League at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain.

T&T lost the wickets of Jeremy Solozano (one) and Yannic Cariah (16) late yesterday to leave the home team on 51/2 in the second innings, still trailing Guyana by 214 runs. At the crease for T&T is Kyle Hope on 22 and Narsingh Deonarine on ten.

Pride vs Volcanoes

St. George's, Grenada, December 6 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Windward Islands Volcanoes, set 379 to win, were 40 without loss at the close of play on the third day of their fourth round WICB PCL first-class match against Barbados Pride at the Grenada National Stadium today.

The not out batsmen were Tyrone Theophile on 17 and Miles Bascombe, 20.

Scorpions vs Hurricanes

JAMAICA Scorpions defeated Leeward Islands Hurricanes by three wickets and a day to spare in the four-day WICB Professional Cricket League (PCL) match at Sabina Park yesterday.

Chasing 149 for victory on the third and penultimate day of the match, the Scorpions, led by a maiden first-class half-century by new Captain Paul Palmer Jr, surpassed the target before scheduled close of play.

Scores: Scorpions 259 & 150-7; Volcanoes 164 & 228.
