TAYLOR HELPS THUNDER BREAK LOSING SKID

PERTH, Australia, CMC – West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor stroked her second half-century and went past 200 runs as she helped Sydney Thunder beat Deandra Dottin’s Perth Scorchers by 22 runs in the inaugural Women’s Big Bash here Sunday.

Opting to bat first at the WACA, Thunder got up to 139 for three off their 20 overs before limiting Scorchers to 117 all out with five balls remaining in the innings, to win their first game in three outings.

Taylor top-scored with 59 from 49 balls with seven fours and added 85 off 77 balls for the first wicket with Rachael Haynes who scored 33 from 37 deliveries
