Pride vs Jaguars

Bridgetown, Barbados, February 19 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados Pride were bowled out for 274 off 88.3 overs in their first innings after winning the toss against Guyana Jaguars on the opening day of their seventh round top-of-the-table WICB PCL first-class match at Kensington Oval today.

Shamarh Brooks and all-rounder Kevin Stoute jointly topscored with 56, the latter being unbeaten.

Brooks batted for 166 minutes, faced 122 balls and struck seven fours and one six. It was his fifth half-century, along with one hundred, for the season.

Scorpions vs Red Force

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Barbadian import Kirk Edwards stroked his second successive half-century while Shacaya Thomas gathered one of his own in his first appearance of the season but Jamaica Scorpions lost late wickets to surrender a position of strength on the opening day of their seventh round clash against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force on Friday.

Opting for first knock at Sabina Park, the hosts were 111 for one at one stage but lost wickets in the middle session and then at the end, to decline to 197 for six at the close.
