Pride vs Jaguars

Bridgetown, Barbados, February 22 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Guyana Jaguars held Barbados Pride to an admirable draw in their seventh round top-of-the-table WICB PCL first-class match at Kensington Oval today.

Set 405 to win, and starting the day on 52 without loss off 20 overs, Guyana scored 252 for seven off 117 overs.

Opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul topscored with 69 from his overnight 23, while captain and fellow left-hander Leon Johnson made 50.

Off-spinner Roston Chase recorded his second five-wicket haul of the match with five for 77 off 41 overs.

The 23-year-old Chase had a match tally of ten for 104 off 56.5 overs and was duly named Player-of-the-Match.

Scorpions vs Red Force

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Evin Lewis’s maiden first class hundred headlined a convincing Trinidad and Tobago Red Force win as they predictably trounced Jamaica Scorpions by eight wickets early here Monday.

The visitors needed just 55 minutes on the final day of the seventh round encounter at Sabina Park, to complete a successful run chase, overhauling the 175 required for victory to finish on 178 for two.

Left-hander Lewis, unbeaten on 66 overnight, made 104 while Barbadian right-hander Kyle Hope steered his side home with an unbeaten 27.
