TTCB get deadline to investigate email
The National League Representatives (NLR) have given the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TT CB) Executive a deadline to respond to a request for a meeting to discuss the handling of an investigation into an alleged email mocking national and West Indies spinner Sunil Narine.
In a letter issued yesterday to Arjoon Ramlal, secretary of the TT CB, the NLR noted that should the TT CB snub a request for a meeting tomorrow at 10 am to jointly appoint an Independent Committee to investigate, it “will force the NLR to advise Mr Narine of his rights and without any further delay seek all legal recourse and options available to him.” The press release yesterday chided the TT CB for not acknowledging an initial request for a meeting by “legally constituted National League Clubs Representatives who are legitimate members of the TT CB.” The NLR added: “This issue is a matter of public interest both nationally and internationally...
