HEADLINE: Dottin and Mohammed star in massive victory

Dhaka, Bangladesh – West Indies Women put in another superb allround performance to beat Pakistan Women by 120 runs and win the International Cricket Council’s Women’s Cricket World Cup 2013 qualification tournament on Saturday.

The Windies, who qualified for the World Cup earlier this week, demonstrated their strength in all departments and ended the event unbeaten with big wins in all six matches.

Congratulations to the Team ; the Manager , and Coaches . A special Congratulations to Ms Dottin ; Ms Mohammed , and Julianna Nero , my compatriot , for very fine Performances .

My hope and expectation is that after these performances , the ICC will no longer require our Ladies to qualify . This is something that the WICB needs to look into , but knowing how it operates , I have no faith that it will bring this matter up with the ICC .
