West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels is expressing pleasure at being recalled to the regional outfit.
The 33-year-old, who was dropped from the team in June, was on Tuesday recalled by the new Clive Lloyd-led West Indies selection panel for the team's upcoming tour of India.
"It's always a wonderful feeling to wear the maroon and gold (colours) of the West Indies," said Samuels.
"The journey continues and my story continues and, going forward, the intention is to go out there and put in the work."

So Marlon now plans to unleash his "full potential"?
What was stopping him these past 14 long years since his debut in 2000?
This is part of the problem with West Indeis cricket: a player near the end of his career is still talking about 'potential'
If Marlon's were as good with his bat as he is with his mouth, he would be better than Headley, Sober, Viv and Lara-combined!!

If Samuels is serious, he can be better than he ever has been. He would not be the first cricketer who blossomed after their early thirties.
His problem always has been that he took "cool" to such of a laid back level that it came across as being disinterested.
The "drop" might have been the best thing to happen to him. At a period in the game when cricketers of average abilities can make themselves a fortune, he was seeing his cricket future bypass him, and must have thought he didn't do enough service to his natural talents. So Lloyd extends a helping hand. Let's see what's behind the new enthusiasm.
