Fearing he’ll be called for suspect action, Windies send Narine homeOffspinner Sunil Narine has left India for the Caribbean, and will not play in the Test and ODI series beginning in Kochi on October 8, the Indian Express is reporting.

Narine was banned from bowling in Saturday’s Champions League final after he was reported for suspect action for a second time in two matches during Kolkata Knight Riders’s semifinal game against the Hobart Hurricanes on Thursday.

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) declined to confirm on Friday that Narine had flown home. However, it is learnt that one of two left arm orthodox spinners, Nikita Miller and Suleiman Benn, will replace him in the squad.

Will be interesting to see what sort of response this elicits from his teammates

Could be motivational
Could be apathy
Or they could be intimidated

Time will tell.

Cause from what I'm readying seems as if he'll be targeted.
Possible intimidation tactics by BCCI sorry ICC, they are soo much alike I tend to get them mixed up at times. lol

Benn or Miller as a replacement...makes sense.

It seems from lloyds frank statement that BCCI have decided to call Narine without testing and letting him play will only lead to a lengthy ban.

They need to have his action examined to see what the issue is and when sure he has done remedial work send him to one of the ICC centers for testing. If he goes for testing before checking he risks a ban like Ajmal.

As Lloyd has said to be banned before testing is unusual.
