Ever since that day in June 1950 when they trounced England at Lord's to win the second Test and then went on to win their first series in England, the West Indies have been lauded, by almost every man, as every man's second favourite team of cricketers.

Right around the world, they were known as Calypso Cricketers. Their fleet-footed batsmen danced down the pitch in search of the ball, or they rocked back and hooked. Their giant fast bowlers raced in from the boundary's edge to release thunderbolt deliveries, and their nimble fielders raced across the field, jumping and diving in gay abandon.

They were the game's naturals, the people's favourite.

The Sports Writers in the Region can never ever be excused for their lack of being REAL
SPORTS JOURNALISTS . Most of their time was & is spent aiding & abetting the WICB in its wilful maladministration of Cricket in the Region .

So to now talk & write about the fact that the WICB is broke is laughable . Becca et al supported and still side with the Worst International Cricket Board in the World aka the WICB .


THE REASON WHY THE WICB IS BROKE IS

BECAUSE IT HAS FAILED MISERABLY IN THE

GOVERNANCE OF CRICKET IN THE REGION .

THERE IS AN ABUNDANCE OF EVIDENT TO PROVE

THIS .


Interesting very few if any of the so called Sports Journalists have been very critica of the WICB'S performance in the Stewardship of West Indies Cricket .

It is this fact that has emboldened those in the governance of Cricket in the Region , to ruin Cricket in the Region , by not treating Cricket as a very serious business . They failed to exercise Due Diligence , they had to payout money to several Players , for matters not having t do with playing Cricket .

I aint done yet ,they lost several cases eve one that went to the Privy Council . They embarrassed themselves and the Region with the fiasco at the inaugural Test Match at the Sir Vivian Stadium .

The Regional Tournaments once upon a time had Sponsors , who stopped being Sponsors
Did Becca and other Apologists enquire why they left ?????

Did Becca et al seek to find out & report why it was that the GCB was not incorporated , and there may well have been other Regional Boards tha were not incorporated .

There was the Paterson Report & the Wilkin Report both commissioned by the WICB id Becca et al urge the Worst International
Cricket Board in the World , to undergo reform ????

My take is that the feces is about to hit the fan , ad so the WICB and its many friends in the Media have started their Propaganda Machinery , to heap ALL the blame on the Players .

FOR YEARS the WICB has been Incompetent ; Inept ; lacking in Foresight & Vision ;
lacking in Good Governance , and Becca and others who claim to be Sports Journalists
were happily singing Silent Night .

Make absolutely no mistake the WICB & its Allies in the Media , are the Ones solely responsible for the current state of affairs , on and off the Field .

LET THEM ALL FALL ON THEIR SWORDS .
