Former West Indies fast bowler Sir Andy Roberts is not in concert with the recent decision by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) to establish a task force to look into the circumstances surrounding the recent pull-out by players during their recent tour of India.

According to Roberts, a member of the world champion West Indies teams of the 1970s, what the board should have done, at the very least, was to first address the issue of recent threats from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

"I would not go the route of a task force right now. I would get people down to India to see if we can salvage anything," Roberts told The Gleaner.

"For me, that is more important right now than to set up a task force to find out what transpired between WIPA, the players, and the board."

Those were my thoughts when I heard about this task force crap. We love wasting time.

Isn't Lloyd already in India working with BCCI to repair the damage? Unless my source tell me a lie, this is what I heard!

Lloyd is just a selector. Any dialogue between BCCI & WICB should be conducted at Board level.

This statement by Roberts , proves to me that he has more brains than all the
"BRIGHT BOYS " in the WICB .

Imagine that !!! those in the WICB have never ever made any effort to conceal their animosity towards the Players ; and here is
Andy Roberts showing up the Emperors .

People scoff when I state that those in the governance of Cricket have never ever had their priorities right . This is just the latest example of that fact .

Maybe the Reason why the President of the WICB couldn't fly from Dubai to India , is that the Emperors do not like doing things that seemingly elevate the status of the
Players to their level . That is utterly forbidden .
