I know it was never going to end.

I know very well that too much it at $take for WICB to let that happen.
Kind of makes me wonder now why they were not quick to go to India and try to prevent all this.

I mentioned on another thread. They have agreed to send the 35k issue to arbitration. Nothing else.

In the interim the players will tour sa under the same conditions, the pcl will kick off and the wicb and the players will abide by the arbitrators ruling when it comes.

so like I said earlier the smart thing was to continue the tour and renegotiate how you split the $35K.

During the days of the plantation in the caribbean, the plantation owners pointed at the laziness and rebelliousness of the plantation workers for their financial situation.

It is good to see that there is a slight indication of change in that mentality. Hope this break out of the plantation mode of management continues into the future!

This is what they should've done when the impasse occurred in India...now they still have a US$42m lawsuit hanging over their heads.

With the tour pull out... somebody has to pay the price... whoever is at fault... whether it is the players or the WICB... someone has to pay... things cant happen and business will go on as usual... this way we can never get anywhere... same things over and over..
