Three WICB directors have told ESPNcricinfo that, contrary to speculative reports in the Caribbean media, no decision has been taken to sack the three international captains: Denesh Ramdin (Test), Dwayne Bravo (ODI) and Darren Sammy (Twenty20).
    On Tuesday some of the directors had a meeting over teleconference, including WICB president Dave Cameron, but the WICB did not issue any release. According to Azim Bassarath, who did not participate in the conference call, no one had informed him about the trio being removed. He said the task force set up by the three warring parties - players, WICB and WIPA - would report back with steps to resolve the situation. According to him, the next board of directors meeting was scheduled for December 13 in Jamaica.

I was cracking up when I heard Ralph hint at the possible consequences if the WICB decides on Thursday to sack all three captains. The WICB apparently got the message.

As I said before and will continue to say, the people who make up the WICB are educated fools who act and then think afterwards.

Don't let them fool you, they were about to sack the three captains after assuring the two Right Honorable Prime Ministers that they would not victimize any of the players.

Can you imagine these men of no shame were about to disrespect the two Prime Ministers?

Prime Minister Gonzalves should not have said one word after getting that tip. He should have allowed them to go ahead with their stupidity and then expose them for what they are, and then use his influence with the other Caricom Governments to tighten the noose around them.

IMO the 3 senior men in Bravo, Sammy and Ramdin acted irresponsibly and exhibited poor leadership by threatening not to play, by engaging their their union in a public brawl, and by ignoring management pleas to 'play cricket' and take up their grievances later.

They were also naive because they did not understand the consequences of withdrawing their services in the middle the tour..

not help them if they reneged o their promise .

Di sudden denial is because dem begging money.

I was in favour initially of the Regional Governments assisting them getting money .
I stated that in this Forum , but as I have stated elsewhere , they have proved themselves to be a very Dishonest Bunch ; so they must not get one blasted penny .

It would be better for the Region to start over than to get in bed with this Bunch . I hope that people here observed their modus
operandi .
