Kingston, Jamaica - Two uncapped players have been named in Jamaica Franchise 13-man squad for their opening West Indies four-day tournament match against Windward Island Volcanoes at Sabina Park, beginning next Friday.

The players are fast bowlers, Marquino Mindley, a former West Indies Under-19 representative, and Keno Wallace, who represents St Thomas CA in national club competitions.

The duo are among four pacers who are in the squad. The others are experienced all-rounder David Bernard Jr, and Jason Dawes

Jamaica seem to be going a different route from Barbados and maybe looking at the availability of players for the entire series.
Barbados will lose 3-4 players after the first round

Seems so. But shouldn't people like Taylor and Samuels be in the team when they are available ?
How are standards gonna raise if you play more cricket but with lesser talent ?

Well, he made himself unavailable for selection in the draft, according to sources....

Maybe he's planning to move away from cricket. Or maybe he's no longer interested in Test or four-day cricket and wants to focus on limited overs.

He only recently played in the West Indies A team, but that might be his last outing....
