Mumbai: BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel on Monday said that the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has sent "an apology letter" for the sudden cancellation of India tour by their players after an internal� payment dispute. (ICC to Cancel Players' T20 Deals if They Abandon Tours)

"We have received a letter from WICB a couple of days ago. It said that they are apologetic and bankrupt and they urged us to resolve the issue through the Disputes Committee," Patel told the mediapersons at Cricket Centre on Monday. � (Also read:� West Indies pullout of India tour to be probed by panel)

However there are reports from a reliable source in the BCCI that world's richest cricket body has informally proposed to WICB to part with 50 percent of their imcome earned through revenue sharing of ICC till 2023.

So, the WICB apologises...sounds like they're accepting liability to me.

Admissions that they are bankrupt....

Begging the BCCI not to go through the law courts, but to settle this via the Disputes Committee.

If the WICB agree to give up 50% of their income over the next nine years to the BCCI, they will become even poorer and more bankrupt....

When will these West Indies players pen a letter of apology to the BCCI for their main role in this strike?

When will they pen that letter? After all, they had enough pen and paper to write letter(s) to the WICB and whosoever else they wanted, so where is their pen and paper now to write a letter of apology to the BCCI???

They were smart enough to know how to carry out a strike but too dumb to figure out the consequences...
