With Ryan Hinds in the squad, you will be having three lefties spinners, which don't make sense.
Ryan's previous problems got him out of the squad, let him sit and reflect, instead of complaining.

You may get to see Shai in this match, will they go with the three spinners and have Smith open with Kraigg?

They are Benn, Nurse and Jomel in the quad, Jomel got 4 wkts in the first innings against T&T, and he also top the bowling in the elite division, is he going to sit or will all three spinners play?

Now when you overseas playing cricket and your Board name you to a training squad and call you and tell you bout lending experience to a 'young' team and you come back expecting one thing and get another yuh bound to be upset.....but having said that, the season is a long one he may still play..........Ryan was around this set up long enough to know these people morning and evening talk doan match, why these fellas does let these people use them all in the name of patriotism is beyond me, they did not want him a few years ago, and now all of a sudden he got the experience they need to support this 'young' team....this same 'young' team did extremely well last first class season...........long/hard chewps......please.......

I agree with you, you either play him or leave him off the squad, he has earned that right.

With the inclusion of Benn for Chase, it seems this team is short of a batsman.
Benn will play, who will you sit for him?

This Barbados team is much stronger than the one against T&T.

That maybe so on paper, Carter has to come good in this match, because #3 Hope and #5 Dowrich are still rookies without a regional ton.
Kraigg scored half the runs in the last match, an experience Hinds at #5 for Nurse, would have been a stronger team.
I am not a fan of Nurse bowling, young Joel seem to be a better spinner.

Agree I would play both Warrican and Benn.

Yep, I am glad Hinds is left out. We need to move on and find new promising talents rather than trying to revitalize an aging veteran. Sometimes one has to be thrown in at the deep end and find a way to swim. If Hinds were to be used then his role should be to bat at 3 and help the youngsters through the innings. But I actually do not think that is necessary. Time for the Hope brothers. Carter needs to stand tall and Smith and Philips do have some experience so they need to lead from the front and support Kraigg. Who will step up ?

I would not play Smith in 4d. only OD and T20.
young Chase should be in the team and not Smith.

Outswinger Nov 19, 2014, 11:55:09 AM

In reply to tc1

Well I have no problem with Smitty in de 4Day. He has a few centuries for Bim in that format and has some first class wickets too.

As a schoolboy Chase was prolific like Jonathan Carter, Kraigg and Anthony Alleyne but has not carried that performance into First Class. With Nurse in the team I do not need his off spin either. His batting position should go to Kyle Hope in my estimation.

TheTrail Nov 19, 2014, 12:12:18 PM

So wait, them done with "mister Durant village" Javon Searles?

Hinds for Nurse is not a bad pick...or even Kyle...

Errrrr, you better chech yuh facts. You are wrong.

You realise that in this set-up Smithy operating like a free agent, he is a play for pay player, so he could play or he could not, and in any case he soon going to the big bash so he is not really an issue on the Bim team....

Do you know why Kyle Hope is not more highly regarded?

Does he have some flaw? ????

Seems that he makes plenty nuff runs in Bim Cricket. cool

Is this pitch likely to take spin more than Kensington Oval?
