Robin Peterson, the left-arm spinner, has been recalled to the South Africa Test squad for the home series against West Indies later this month. He is the only specialist spinner in the 14, replacing the injured Dane Piedt. Lions batsman Temba Bavuma and pacer Kagiso Rabada gain maiden Test call-ups, while Cape Cobras batsman Stiaan van Zyl, who was picked in the squad for the Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe series' in July-August but is yet to debut, stays on.

Do the SA selectors not know that a Marlon Samuels on song might do the same to him?

BTW googley...fret not thy self for Devon Smith, Peterson is a left-arm orthodox spinner who should not give Devon much problems. Devon's nemesis is the off spinner against whom he has the habit of playing down the wrong line and either .gets out LBW or have his off stump disturbed.
