ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board announced today that the Caribbean Super Station will be its radio broadcast partner for the NAGICO Super50 Tournament, starting this Thursday in Trinidad & Tobago.
All 15 matches in the tournament will be broadcast “live” on the CSS/GEM Radio network of stations, as well as other independent broadcasters in Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and United States Virgin Islands, as well as stations in the host country.
“We are very excited to be working once again with CSS and excited that they have decided to carry ‘live’ coverage of all the matches,” said WICB Commercial Manager Nelecia Yeates said.
“CSS will be playing an important role in our continued efforts to restore the rich heritage of West Indies cricket, promoting the talents of our players to the region and, indeed, the World.”

This is great news for the fans and another feather in the cap of The Bandits.
Hope they do something about the standard of the commentators, for the most part they are abysmal
Sam Wilkinson, Bish, Holding ,Dujon excepted

Since CSS came in it has been an absolute nightmare trying to get WI cricket on radio.
First from domestic matches, TalkCity and/or VibeCT used to bring most FC matches in TT and to my knowledge EVERY single international match WI played in home or away.
But for the last two series (IND and SA) I couldn't find one station bringing it.

Shouldn't your ire be directed at Admin
Of more concern to me anyway is the standard of commentary
They are like an assault on the ears and senses

I must say I agree with you
For some reason CSS seems to almost always have technical issues when it comes to the actual broadcasting of the matches.
I hope they get it sorted cause the can't keep blaming lime or whoever they use as their internet connection.
