A month before the 11th World Cup, in Australia and New Zealand, the game's most prestigious tournament, the turbulence is more evident than ever. A new captain has been given the responsibility of leading the team. His experience in the post is limited to the five ODIs in South Africa that immediately precede the World Cup. At 23, Jason Holder, an impressive, emerging allrounder, is the youngest and newest captain among the 14 World Cup finalist teams.

He has started with no head coach to lean on. Six months after Ottis Gibson was summarily sacked by WICB president Dave Cameron, the position won't be filled until after the World Cup. In the meantime, Stuart Williams continues as "coaching coordinator".

After the 2011 CWC I denounced WI Cricket and said I could not be a fan under Gibson and Sammy. The team was packed with a bunch of ass kissing wannabe international players preferred by the She E O.

When players got injured the qualified players were offered an opportunity. Then like now a non regular, none qualified hand picked Patsy got the job as captain. After the removal of Gibson and Sammy I tried to make my way back, but my passion for the game has been replaced with a more constructive pastime.

Now I tune in to watch selective players perform and ignore the incompetence of the WICB, impossible as it may be. They haven't learn a thing from the over due Sammy experiment. Bravo should not have been captain there was no room in the team for three of Sammy, Bravo and Pollard with Smith opening courtesy of IPL. While two should have given way the least affective was retain due to incompetence and politics.

I divorced myself from cricket realizing I was too often drawing from the infamous words of Christopher Henry Gayle. It wouldn't be so sad if I woke up one morning and read that someone went postal on the entire WICB. I needed that divorce and a cleansing, at least Zimbabwe had the decency to withdraw.

THE WICB(C) BY CHANGING THE COACH , TWO CAPTAINS AND THE NUCLEUS OF THE TEAM, MONTHS BEFORE THE WORLD CUP IS AS STUPID AS STUPID CAN BE ---OR A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE AND DESTABILIZE WEST INDIES CRICKET EVEN MORE.

Look Folks , all this was done in my opinion to cover themselves , when our Players get eliminated early .

They & their Friends in the Media will say , well there are new Players & a New Captain
at the ODI Championship . So our expectations were not very high . Obviously
as usual those who stepped out of line in their eyes must be punished , to keep everyone in line .

If Machiavelli was alive , he would blush
at this amazing Charade . This essentially
is an elaborate scheme to ensure that they
stay in power , and that the power they possess will remain undiluted .

BTW , all this talk about implementing the Patterson Report , and the Wilkin Report is tied into this colossal double charade . I
have no doubt that they are going to say give them more time , the Youngsters are
going to improve . They are going to get
a new Coach .

However neither the Paterson Report or the Wilkin Report is ever going to be implemented . This whole elaborate scheme
has been setup for them to remain in Total Control of Cricket in the Region Forever ;
with none of the Power they currently possess diminished .

ONE OF THE PROBLEMS IS THAT THE STRUCTURE

OF CRICKET IN THE REGION IS WRONG . ALL

THE POWER IN THE WICB RESIDES IN THE

REGIONAL BOARDS PRESIDENTS .


THEY ARE THE PERSONS WHO SELECT THE

PRESIDENTS OF THE WICB ; OBVIOUSLY THEY

HAVE MORE CLOUT THAN HE DOES ; THIS MEANS

THAT HE CANNOT STRAY OFF THEIR RESERVATION .

Cameron cannot do anything without
them signing off on what he wants to do .
the gist is that Cameron like it or not has
to do what they tell him to do .

They guard their power zealously , my take is that if Clive Lloyd wants to be a heavy hitter in the WICB , he should seek to become the President of the Guyana Cricket Board . The Presidency of the WICB has less
power in my opinion ,than any of the Presidents of the Regional Boards .

Cozier I have been saying that for ages. It is my belief that someone at the top of WI Cricket is a mole. Someone up there is putting blocks in place so we never climb out of 8th.
Here we had the perfecr run in to SA by playing India and what happens CRASH.BOOM .
We abandoned the tour just as d boys were getting their feet in.

The Destabilization of West Indies Cricket continues in the year 2015.I am convinced that there is a Master Plan in place to undermine West Indies Cricket. The things that happen cannot be happening adhoc. I believe that there is a continuous plan to keep West Indies Cricket down.
