St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board today communicated its intent to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to find a workable solution for the premature end of the West Indies tour of India in October 2014.

 WICB President Dave Cameron met with some of the directors of ICC and sought their assistance in resolving the issue. Their support is much appreciated and welcomed by the WICB.

 The WICB is hopeful of finding a workable solution and to this end will send a delegation to meet with the BCCI in the coming weeks.

After being repeatedly beaten up by the WIPA, here was his chance to be the hero and stick it to the players.

He "negotiated" the new MOU with the "new" WIPA

He had the WIPA in his back pocket

When Bravo insisted that they meet, he played the card he'd been waiting to play for years...."we will only deal with the players representative as outlined in the CBA"

THAT was his crowning glory. He would be the WICB President that would have broken the back of the evil WIPA.

He would be the hero.

That the players would actually abandon the tour wasn't REALLY considered a possibility. They bluffing and I will call their bluff showing once and for all who really in charge.

Repeated requests for intervention from the host BCCI were met with indifference. Keep out of our business. I am teaching these players a lesson.

When it became evident....3 weeks after the tour began....that the players were serious about abandoning the tour.....scrambling start. And this is where we're at today.

In short....Cameron BADLY miscalculated and lacked sufficient NOUS to resolve the issue. Instead, he made it worse.

To date....not a forkane peep from that COWARD Wavell Hinds. What a forkane utter and complete disappointment he is.

It is so simple I can't understand why they make it into rocket science. Make the players an equal partner. Run the ship effectively and there will be much more for them to embezzle.

First they made Asses of themselves , then they go to the ICC , to help them make the proposed 42 million dollars lawsuit go away .

I am awaiting responses of what I stated from the Supporters of the WICB , so far
I am deafened by their individual & collective silence .

I really dont think that they agree with my assessment of those in the governance of Cricket in the Region . So they are welcome to try refuting what I have stated .
