HEADLINE: Cook eyeing return to form against Windies

LONDON (CMC) -- An upbeat England arrived in St Kitts on Thursday for their three-Test tour of the Caribbean, with captain Alastair Cook confident of making a huge impact against opponents struggling in the game's longer form.

England exited the recent ICC World Cup without reaching the second round and are now focused on regaining some lost pride in the series, which bowls off in Antigua on April 13.

"We've got to focus on the exciting thing, which is the next five weeks and the guys who are lucky enough to pull on that shirt, to represent our country and be committed to playing for England," Cook said prior to his departure from Gatwick Airport.

England, ranked number three in the Test rankings, will be expected to roll over West Indies, ranked number eight in the world.

WI is the perfect team to find form against.
In the recent World Cup, Guptill, de Villers, etc, showed how good WI was at bringing out the best in people - on the opposing team.
Not news, really.

De Villiers is a phenomenal batsman alright, but WI manages to make even him look better.

England did not make it out of the preliminary round...

So England did not achieve what Windies achieved "these days"...

England will swing by soon to settle any doubts about where they stand with respect to WI.
Cook looks like he has something extra special in mind for the tour - something he knows WI won't be able to resist.

Do they remember they lost the last series in the Caribbean? If Taylor and Roach are at their best, we just need to take our catches as they will produce wicket taking opportunities.
