With money already at a minimum the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) will find it even more difficult to run the game in the region, as funds continue to dry up.

The organization latest stream of revenue to run dry is the Champions League fees. Of course no fault of their own, the Champions League has been scrapped by the three ruling bodies, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Cricket Australia (CA) and Cricket South Africa (CSA).

Under the arrangement from the three associations that ran the Champions League, each of the cricket boards that had representation at the tournament got US$500,000.

No X7 fi who now??

I still firmly believe that you would make a very good WICB president.

I see it now, your first order of business would be to show these hangers on that they don't need anything more (or better) than a Toyota Corolla to get around.

After your tenure there would be no return to business as usual with X7s being the preferred mode of transportation.

Go for it, Chrissy.

POINT Aug 15, 2015, 12:42:38 PM

I am reminded of the adage :

" PENNY WISE AND POUND FOOLISH "

Obviously , when Cameron & Hinds hatched the Plot , to reduce the International Players pay to compensate the Regional Players , and then Recklessly cancel the Indian Tour, they never ever thought about the 2017 Championship.

This Coup engineered by Cameron & Hinds HAD THE APPROVAL OF THE WHOLE BOARD . This is precisely why they
were both Reelected UNOPPOSED .

" THE EVIL THAT MEN DO

LIVE AFTER THEM " .

So it will be in the Annals of Cricket in this Region . The rejection of the Lucky Report ; the Patterson Report & the Wilkin Report
will be prominently featured , so also would be the disdain of those in the governance of Cricket in the Region when the Regional Governments
asked them to implement the changes recommended by the Patterson Report , and they swiftly rejected that request by the Regional Governments .
