As far as I know there is no WI national anthem.
There's however a WI cricket team anthem. .

It's probably too late, but a proper anthem should have been composed accordingly. With all due respect to the David Rudder song, which is brilliant, the lyrics aren't really what you'd want in an anthem.

Nothing is wrong with it , its a fighting song and song that tries to evoke a higher power . I my self get a bit wet in the eyes when its played with our team on the field or on the tele .
It suits the purpose .

According to the Fire In Babylon documentary the all-conquering WI sides worked hard to dispel the image of WI cricketers as "calypso cricketers" and to prove themselves as serious professionals. Now just a few years later, the guardians of WI cricket have allowed the situation to develop where the enduring images beamed on TVs around the world are of WI cricketers standing at attention and singing a crap calypso.
