HEADLINE: Rampersad says protocol must be followed

CHAIRMAN of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board’s National League Patrick Rampersad has chided a group of representatives of the clubs in the top tier local cricket for the methods being used to effect change in the national organisation.

Rampersad, the third vice-president of the TT CB said he was very concerned that the campaign by the six elected National League officials is doing irreparable harm which if left unchecked, will destroy the game.

The Port-of-Spain customs broker, who is also president of successful Premier Division team Merryboys Sports Club of Diego Martin, said that although the six named representatives enjoy the right to speak out on issues relevant to the game’s administration, they should refrain from flouting established protocols.
