I have a sneaky feeling that Cameron & Co , aint going to like what Astaphan proposes . This is but a last ditch
effort to see what Cameron & Co can salvage .

They are so Freaking Dumb , the first thing that they should have done on hearing the Regional Governments decision to Fire them was to hire an Attorney .

But as usual in their colossal Arrogance , they did not deem it necessary to hire an Attorney . What
a Bunch of Clowns .

The sad thing is that many in the Region cannot understand why the current state of Cricket in the Region is abysmal .

It is ironic that as I am typing this
Frank Sinatra is singing " SEND IN THE CLOWNS " . Today would have been
Sinatra's 100th Birthday , and my favourite Radio station is featuring
Frank Sinatra all day Today .

In Regional Cricket WE are already
governed by the Clowns ; they are already there ; and fighting hard to
be relevant & not being Fired , despite their continuous Failures .

There should only be topic of discussion- a time line for total and irreversible dismantlement of the WICB.

Here's the trap Cameron is setting: Once CARICOM engages in any other discussion, including their new advisor's plan, they would have been caught in Cameron's trap.

Now, tell me why those who are being paid handsomely to run cricket, has to hire a legal advisor to advise on management principles?

In matters such as this one, the prudent thing to do is to hire an advisor (attorney).

After making that regrettable first mistake where he disrespected the Right Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Cameron so far seems to be doing everything right.

He made amends for that mistake and is now acting the way a President is supposed to act.

Here is what will happen. The WICB will implement the commercial arm without delay.

After that they will guarantee full transparency going forward and all the parties will be happy.

End of story.

THEY have absolutely no Management Skills , there exists an abundance of evidence to prove this fact .

Their perpetual wars with their Employees is a classic example . In addition they also lack Business Acumen
Pulling the Plug on the India Tour that
was in Progress is ample proof of this fact . Their behaviour was to put it mildly Reckless .

They cancelled the Tour , and left their Hosts with a Mountain of Debt .
Treating the only friend they had in the ICC was exceedingly shameful . But then , they have never ever exhibited any remorse for their Deeds .

Look full Transparency by itself aint going to float their Boat. It is in my opinion about displaying Good Governance ; Foresight & Vision ; Good
Business Acumen ; and the ability to
have harmonious Relations with their
Employees .

The current freaking Structure has to be jettisoned ; the 19 th century mentality has to go . Frankly the Current WICBC is freaking top heavy .
There is to much Fat , and the Entity has to slim down .

I hope that the Regional Governments stick to their decision , to fire all of them . One should not put New wine into old bottles . The current people
have absolutely no intention of changing the current structure .

That being the case put them out to Pasture , You simply cannot Teach Old Dogs New Tricks . This can only work if there are persons who have Veto power over the Idiots ; and I seriously doubt that they will agree to that .

HELL , the ICC blithely turns a Blind Eye regarding their Colossal Incompetence . The Regional Governments , in my opinion , need to
test their Authority by filing a case
against both the ICC & the WICBC .

I sincerely hope that by now the Regional Governments realize that they are dealing with very Slippery
People . whose only objective is to be in the governance of Cricket in the Region , with the same archaic
Structure .

Some years ago New Zealand quickly realized that it was losing its edge ,and it underwent a Structural change
; this lot Will Never Ever Do that .
They are more interested in being in the governance of Cricket in the Region , and ensuring the Structure
never ever changes .

They do not care about the status of our Players & Team in the International Cricket Arena , It has escaped their puny brains that the only way that potential Sponsors will come on Board is if they see consistent and genuine Progress .

Obviously if things are not done to improve the Standard of Cricket in the Region , and at the International level , They will perpetually look bad ; unfortunately that does not Faze them .

Look even people from other Cricket
Playing Countries are beginning to be
Critical of them . You & I and others have been critical of them for a long time .

But it is their Individual & Collective Arrogance that prevents them from Seeing & Understanding that they have destroyed Cricket in the Region ;They are blinded by focusing solely on two things . Remaining in the Governance of Cricket and in the Region ; and ensuring that the Structure is never ever changed .

I hear You , but it would be infinitely better if they ALL were Fired . You simply cannot get Milk from Stone .
Frankly for years now the WICBC has had absolutely no redeeming Features .

Let them all leave Cricket in the Region alone . What is troubling is that these are persons purported to
be intelligent People .

It is also very fair to ask the Regional Governments why the Hell are they so late in coming to the realization that the WICBC has been and is Arrogant & Incompetent , for years it has lacked Foresight & Vision , Business Acumen , and the ability to have harmonious relations with their Employees .

Look they have been doing this for years , therefore it makes absolutely no sense allowing them to say that they are sorry , because You cannot teach an old dog new Tricks . Therefore they ALL have to go . They have been at this for many years .

You seemed not to understand what I am trying to convey. I am not disagreeing with you.

People in high positions in Caribbean society behave differently from people in high positions in the developed world.

For simplicity sake, let me explain. If the WICB was an organization in, let's say the UK, Canada, the USA or Japan, the upper echelons having been shamed in public would have resigned a long time ago. This is the Caribbean so none of that comes into play.

The term "people in high positions" is also relevant to the CARICOM leaders and not only the WICB. CARICOM leaders were not going to stand idly by and let the President of the WICB make them look like fools.

What the President did next was to apologize and start acting Presidential. That was brilliant.

The only thing left to do now was to find a way for all parties to save face and they did. The meeting on the 4th came off as was originally called for.

By now you should be following my line of thought so I do not need to explain the conclusion.

OK Mr.POINT!!!!!!!!!
