THE Guyana Jaguars is a team which surely doesn’t believe in the individual milestones of players. Rather, its members are focused on integrating well as a team and gelling closely. The premier reason behind their profound success during the first half of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Professional Cricket League (PCL) Regional four-day tournament has been that they have played extremely well as a team.
The players have complimented each other well, and by doing their tasks with ease, it has just made life easier for the other members. At least this is what the team captain, Leon Johnson feels.
Johnson in an exclusive interview (with Guyana Chronicle)has attributed teamwork and discipline for the team’s success so far.

Firstly, he should have been in the squad in OZ.

Seasoned team with a good blend of youth and senior players. From all reports, the team was in collective training long before anyone else in the region. They got rid of the ill prepared Sarwan and inconsistent Deonarine. I recon that Beaton will be next on the chopping block...he is falling away pretty rapidly. Reports/ rumors from Guyana seem to suggest that he is not consistently putting forth enough effort towards getting better...

Esaun Crandon

I was just about to say that he's doing the rounds. He won his first championship at age 33. Looks set for a 2nd at age 34.

I read about the way he's preparing the lads for the 50 overs tournament and have to admit i'm quite impressed with his approach.

He's a background lad, quite and all of that but seems to be getting some where...

Heard rumors that the umpires reported Beaton for pelting in the Guyana vs T&T match.. He didn't play in the last round against Jamaica...
